A Visit To Glenn Ligon’s America

Get on the bus to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to
learn about the compelling work of artist Glenn Ligon. America is the first comprehensive
retrospective of Ligon’s work, which has been described by The Root as “art
that transcends ‘black’ and ‘gay’” and by The New York Times as “a scan of
social history.” Students will get $5
admission and a guided tour of the show, as well as an opportunity to explore
LACMA. A limited number of tickets will
be available at the U-SU Administration Office, Room 306, University-Student
Union starting Monday, January 9 through Thursday, January 19. Participants
must sign a waiver and use transportation provided by the U-SU for the entire
