faculty, staff, and students from Asian/Asian American Studies, Chicano
Studies, Latin American Studies, Pan-African Studies, and Women’s and Gender
Studies, plus the Cross Cultural Centetrs, for a dialogue on why race, gender,
and class continue to matter in the U.S. Learn about exciting research,
courses, programs, and campus organizations that address the enduring relevance
of Area, Ethnic, and Gender Studies. Opportunities to enroll in Winter classes
will be available on site. Join us again on Thursday, February 9 at 6:15 pm (LA
Room) as we continue the discussion with the screening of Precious Knowledge, a
film documenting Arizona’s legislation limiting Area, Ethnic, and Gender
Studies courses and student organizations.
