Join us as we continue the conversation started on January
11 in the Area/Ethnic/Gender Studies Forum on the importance of these academic
departments at CSULA. In the gripping documentary Precious Knowledge, Tucson
High School students and teachers become academic warriors and community
leaders to save their Ethnic Studies classes and student organizations, while
state lawmakers attempt to eliminate them. Join us for a reception and
discussion with filmmaker Eren Isabel McGinnis. Directed by Ari Palos and Eren
