Mrs. and The Mistress
Join the Gender and Sexuality Resource Cener and Pan African Student Resource Center as we kick off the 5th Womyn of Color Conference with a dynamic theatre performance featuring CSULA alum Crystal Tennille Irby, Thea Monyee, and Simply Kat. Mrs. and the Mistress is a spoken word stage play that confronts the relationship between wives and the other women interfering in their romantic relationships. Using dynamic spoken word against the backdrop of a hit reality show, Mrs. and the Mistress draws back the veil of judgment and shame to reveal the ties that bind these women together, excluding the men they share.
