Afro-Punk explores the roles and issues of Black people within the U.S. punk rock scene, including loneliness, exile, interracial dating, Black power, and the dual lives led by people of color in communities that are predominantly white. Film followed by discussion with film director James Spooner and musician Joi (D’Angelo Outkast).
