Martin Sandoval

Jesus Martin Sandoval, Assistant Director of Operations for the University- Student Union. Martin started working with the U-SU in 1986 as a student assistant in the Maintenance Department. He transitioned to full-time position in 1991 as the day Maintenance supervisor and quickly moved through the ranks of Operations. Martin currently leads the Maintenance and Custodial Operations Team consisting of 12 employees. Hold the top three CSULA Track & Field in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters.

He was born in Mexico and raised in Sunny San Diego and is a devout SD Padres/Chargers Fan. Likes include spending time with family, jogging, Hiking, Camping, taking long bike rides, wine tasting, cooking, and baking, Loves gardening w/ his family. He is married and is a proud father of three wonderful kids (JJ, Alex and Jennifer). Favorite sayings, “Let it be said, let it be done” and “Your wish is my command”.
