COVID-19 Information: Cal State LA is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. For information, visit Cal State LA Health Watch.

The Cross Cultural Centers provide a variety of services and resources to help meet the needs of Cal State LA students. Our goal is to ensure that students have a safe and comfortable space where they can go to study, hang out, or simply meet with friends. Additionally, in order to assist in student retention, we provide academic resources for students, including culturally-focused and gender-focused books, magazines, and videos, computers, and study spaces. We also offer several support groups and workshops to help students cope with the stress and challenges of going to school. This is especially important at Cal State LA because many of our students work full-time, are parents, or are considered non-traditional students.

As well, we make information available on off-campus resources and community organizations that can provide the support and assistance needed by many of our students. Other general resources, such as microwaves, refrigerators, and televisions, are available to support the day-to-day needs of our students, while also helping to create a more welcoming and comfortable space. While our primary goal is to provide services for students, our services and resources are available to the entire campus community. We also welcome off-campus guests to visit the centers and utilize resources.
