How to Vote for the Board of Directors!

The University-Student Union's Board of Directors is the governing board of the Union. The purpose of the Board is to establish policy for the Union as a student body center for the benefit of students, faculty, staff and alumni at Cal State Los Angeles.Learn how to cast you vote your your board of directors!

Log in to

Click on MyCalStateLA
Enter network Credentials

(If you were enrolled in DUO authentication... Follow instructions to complete the DUO authentication process)

Click on CalState LA Elections menu item below.

This brings to Voting Options below.

Click on CalStateLA Voting Summary page:

For more information on the Candidates and their platforms click on the link below. This link takes you to the ASI Website.

Once ready to Vote, Click on the office you would like to Vote. If you would like to vote for President office, Click on the hyperlink President. This will take you to the screen below which brings the candidates competing for the office of President.

Once you click on the Elect button next to the candidate that you would like to vote

Then click on the Vote button. Voting status will change from Not Voted to Voted

Repeat the process for all the offices that have candidates for election. Once voted you will not be able to change the selection. So Click on the vote button only after finalizing your choice.
You should be able to choose representative for your college.
Example: If you are student of College of Natural and Social Sciences then you will be able to vote for the representative from your college.

BOD Elections:
There are eight open positions for this office. You can elect and vote up to 8 Candidates.

If you vote for more than 8 candidates you will get an error message like this.

If you elect no candidates and try to submit your vote… you will get the following message.
