Cal State LA is proud to welcome the Class of 2023, as well as our new transfer students and our returning Golden Eagles back to campus! Welcome Week activities, workshops, and events are designed to help connect you to faculty, staff, and of course your fellow students as you prepare to take full advantage of your Cal State LA experience.

MONDAY, AUGUST 19

VIP Day at the University Bookstore is a great opportunity to enjoy music, drinks, snacks, giveaways and to meet Eddie the Golden Eagle. There will be special promotions on Cal State LA gear too!

Learn more about student advocacy and shared governance. As the official voice of the students, ASI offers an experience in responsible political participation where students advocate for the protection of higher education at the state and federal levels. Be a part of setting strategic goals and policy priorities, while representing student interests on ASI-internal and University-wide committees. ASI also offers dynamic programming and student support services throughout the year. If you are unable to visit us in person, check out the ASI website for information about book vouchers, locker rentals, amusement park tickets, free scantrons/bluebooks and more.
